Made for Flavor, Not for Shelf Life
To all of our new friends, please allow us a moment to reintroduce you to - Frank. The company was founded back in 2013. For the past three years, we've been making our own custom brand of signature hot dogs. In doing so, we've been able to support small business agriculture and deliver a consistent, quality hot dog to our customers. For starters, we believe that great hot dogs start with expertly raised, minimally processed meat. And because pork and beef are the foundation of what we do, we use the absolute best. All of our pork is sourced from The Piggery, a collaboration of family-farms in upstate New York. Free to roam and graze on pastures, the hogs from these farms produce quality meat that is free of growth hormones and antibiotics. Our original hot dogs are made with the following ingredients: pork, water, salt, celery powder, organic black pepper, mace, organic coriander, organic white pepper and organic all-spice. More importantly, all of our hot dogs are FREE of nitrates, preservatives & artificial ingredients, including dairy, gluten, corn syrup, sodium nitrites, dextrose, sodium erthobates, and hydrolyzed soy – these are the "ingredients" that have no business being in hot dogs. Simply put, we prefer meat as it is meant. Our hot dogs are made for flavor, not for shelf-life. Other hot dog companies may talk the talk and use terms that are vague (like "natural") or even deceiving. However, their products are little more than reassembled slaughterhouse remains. Real meat is a different story altogether. And to be clear, none of this is "normal," cheap, or easy – even though it may seem that way. This kind of agriculture & production represents years of effort. That is why we have such a deep respect & appreciation for our farming partners – Heather and Brad. They are doing all the hard stuff better, including science, community, logistics and sourcing. That all makes a difference. See for yourself; the proof is in our hot dogs.
